Poor product on hood parts and accessories

This is the second motor I've ordered, returning the first one, this one is 10 times worse, the blade wobbles like the plastic on the blade is deformed/somewhat ridiculous waste of time . Time. I didn't have time to get the second one back so I found that if you heat the plastic on the blade in the middle it softens and you can bend it straight, it sucks but it works.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Runs backwards - blows air into the kitchen

Advantages:1. he fits The holes on the bracket line up perfectly with the holes in my hood. The plug fits perfectly and can be plugged in directly. Cons: 1. The plastic fan blade is terribly wrong: high on one side, low on the other. This causes strong vibrations.2. It's big: it blows the air the wrong way. It sucks cold air off my roof and blows it on my stove at high or low speed.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some little things

Doesn't appear to be as powerful as the original but seems to work

Installation was a little painful as I had to change the connector from the original fan to this one. I also had to use some heat to straighten the blades to correct the vibration. This engine has significantly less sheet metal (or are they thinner?) than the stock engine. Not sure if that's the reason, but this one seems less powerful than the original. When I was cooking a particularly smoked dish, I saw the smoke escaping the cap; I'm not sure if the original fan could have caught all that…

Not quite suitable.: Spare parts and accessories for extractor hoods

The device supplied is not suitable. The fan blade was not properly seated on the rotating shaft and was vibrating when I tested it. I had to remove the existing fan blade and remove the motor from the included mount and then modify the shaft with a Dremel tool so I could use the old fan blade. Then install the motor on the bracket of the failed device. I had to cut off the connector that came with it and solder the original electrical connector to the new block to connect to the original speed

Pros
  • As far as satisfied
Cons
  • The list is long.

Tuned to Nutone SL6200, same specs but not perfect.

5 stars for trying to make it match the discontinued Nutone SL6200 with some adjustments. Of course, the brackets didn't fit, "but very tightly." Then I hit the screw terminals of the hood with a punch and hammer to widen them by a few hairs - that's all it takes. and then. "it can happen". Now I have changed the molex terminal socket and soldered the old one to fit the original one in the hood which are the same 3 wires but with a different attachment. Mount the fan assembly. Test first by…

  • Free for educational purposes

Big! I had to change direction.

I am very happy with this fan but I had to change directions. My old Nutone hood had a fan that mounts the motor under the fan blades and it looked pretty much the same as this one. When delivered, however, this fan is mounted with the fan at the bottom and the motor at the top. In my setup, the fan has been reversed and blows instead of sucking. To change direction you need to loosen the two screws on the end of the motor, remove the bearing cover and then flip the magnet (see photo). Put…

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Fits 20 year old Kenmore Stove fan

This fan has been working great since I installed it in December. It was about half the cost of a Kenmore fan, I was told it would fit mine and it did. I just unscrewed 3 screws, loosened the old one and connected this one. It's a bit faster and louder than the old one, and I had to squeeze one of the blades a bit to keep it from hitting the screen. Cap, but I don't care. The screen goes over him without hitting him. It's worth saving for me. I would buy it again. Update 06/06/20: The first one
