Review on ๐Ÿฆ Build and Chill with LEGO Ice Cream Truck: Fun Building Pieces for Ramp Up Summer Play by Nicholas Peters

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fun little truck but the colors are quite bright.

For reasons I can't figure out I'm very drawn to Lego food trucks and carts so I had to have this one. It's a cheap kit so I wasn't expecting much but it was a fun short build and the result was pretty good. It even had a few unexpected 'working' features, like a working sliding window and a giant popsicle mascot on the roof that can be tilted down for driving or tilted up to attract customers when it's on is parked in a fixed place. The biggest distraction for me was the flashy colors. Fits the theme but (and it seems silly to say this about a Lego set) makes it look like a 'toy'. Not quite as good as the current Lego City Pizza Truck but still a solid four and highly recommended for a kid or family build.

Pros
  • This easy to build LEGO City set inspires imagination, endless build and play fun and makes a fun Christmas, birthday or other gift for kids aged 5+ who love ice cream trucks and toy trucks love.
Cons
  • Lots of things
