I bought this pack to make face masks and received some great patterned masks from this pack. Not being a quilter, I can't be sure of the exact thread count, but it fits the criteria for homemade cloth face masks. That's not exactly a scientific criterion, but no harsh light is visible through two layers of fabric. These are not medical masks for those who work directly with infected patients. As a nurse I feel very comfortable doing this for family and friends who are social distancing and looking amazing doing it! I am very sorry that this is no longer available. If it comes back I will definitely buy it again.
