These swim trunks have a drawstring that wraps around my 5 year old's tiny waist and a durable elastic band. The lace is also thick and easy to tie/untie when wet. Functionally they are fantastic. They don't become transparent in the tank and their colors haven't washed off yet. My son loves them because dinosaurs.
