I really like this strobe panel. The price is great, I think it's bright enough and has a lot of different flash options. It's pretty much designed to be placed on the windshield, and the suction cups allow you to use it temporarily when you don't need it all the time. . The metal bracket is designed to keep the lights from shining backwards (at your face while driving) and the cord is a good length. I intend to go one step further and set it up to be used for very temporary use outside of the car if you are being pulled from the curb. For this small project, I plan to add a magnetic strip to the frame and use a cigarette lighter plug extension cord. This allows you to mount the flash on the roof/trunk of the car (just to keep it stationary) so that the flash is aimed at oncoming traffic.
