Whenever possible, save $$$$ in retirement. Right out of the box this did not solve the problem I was having with the engine light on the dash. The code indicated a possible fuel cap malfunction, replaced it, cleared the code but returned. Next, the flush valve was replaced. SRX car 2015. After fighting R&R the valve was reset and the code cleared. After 1 ride the engine caught fire. All that was left was to go back to the dealership where I bought the SRX to have the car repaired. It turned out to be a new flush valve. It was defective from the start. Do I have a chance to get my money back? I would appreciate a letter from the Mayes Automotive Cadillac dealer confirming that the valve is defective and I would send it back to have it checked.
