Update. The volume stopped working after 30 days. This is the third device with the SAME PROBLEM, October 19, 2020 The sound quality is amazing if you like bass. The highs are somewhat lost because it is such a compact package with powerful bass. I think it sounds as loud as you want with no loss of sound quality. It's pretty loud! Everyone who sees and hears it is impressed. For the money this is a great deal. The battery lasts a long time. The range is decent. Weight isn't an issue, I wanted it to be heavy because it means a good battery and good speakers in general. I would suggest this.
