The presence of an AQI sensor with an automatic mode is quite rare in air purifiers in this price range. BlueAir is really good for creating something inexpensive that you can set and forget. I've tested and tried many different air purifiers and while I already have a favorite, this one really deserves credit. First let me say that this is definitely a bedroom orientated cleaner and is not designed for large spaces with an open concept (choose 311 Auto for a larger area). The 411 Auto is virtually silent at Level 1. Level 2 is also fairly quiet, but there is a very gentle breeze (my personal favorite for sleeping because white noise is soothing). Level 3 definitely gives a sound jump, but it's good for short-term quick air purification. Auto mode is pretty accurate with the detection rate. I snuffed out the candle that was relatively close to the air purifier and the sensor light turned red and gradually intensified to sift through the smoke. In another test, I blew out a candle that was further across the room from the air purifier. The sensor took longer to spin the fan (about 5 minutes more or less), but it was still able to detect it. I find the dissipation of smells and smoke quite neat. Today I was indecisive about outfits and tried on a lot of different things while looking in the mirror and I think all the dust and lint came up and got the little guy walking. All this to say that the AQI sensor and the auto mode are great! Other positive aspects: low power consumption. It will be so cheap on your electricity bill. The maximum power is only 10W! stylish! The pre-filters are very appealing. I'm in a very modern, minimalist space with black, white and grey. The included standard pre-filter is perfect! Other decor? They have many different colors for you. I have to say I had some doubts about it because he clearly lacked power. It reminded me a lot of Levoit Vista 200. However, this model is terribly weak and not worth the money. I believe the reason Blue Pure 411 Auto works so well is that it is a 90% filter. There's no rigid plastic or restrictive air intake grilles. Cloth and filter only. Because of this, less fan power is required to pull air through multiple layers of plastic holes and ultra-dense materials. Quite innovative and a true example of less is more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish and efficient minimalistic air purifier for a small space.
