Exactly what I was looking for.

I ordered this to try as I paid more than double for my regular pre-workout drink. After reading the reviews I decided to point out what I found. Several things seem to be the subject of the review. Flavor, weight, that "itchy" thing, residual residue and does it work? I'll start by saying that I've tried several different pre-workout drinks with varying results, and I'm not sure about any particular one. This is the first time I've tried this, so this will be my own subjective review. Flavor: Ordered watermelon flavor, usually tastes the same as watermelon flavor. I didn't notice any weird aftertaste like some drinks have. I like it and it was good. It also blended very well with very little residue. I've had a couple of drinks that just didn't mix for cr@p so I'm happy with that fact. Weight: This seemed like a big issue, so I actually took the time to weigh the product with a small digital scale. When you first open the container, it gives the impression that there is not much powder in it. I'll say that the container itself is much larger than the content, so I can see how that can happen. I am sure that marketing plays a role here. The container says there are 6.51 net ounces. I weighed all of the powder in the jar and it weighed 6.6 ounces minus a few dropped pellets and desiccant packets. The serving size is given as 6 grams. A full scoop weighed 6.5 grams or 0.235 ounces (approximately), so a slightly below-average serving size would be 6 grams. A full scoop and some fuzzy math makes about 28 servings. So the claimed 33 servings is a bit subjective depending on how much you scoop up, but it does depend on how anal it makes you feel. So does it work? This is exactly what I expected from a pre-workout drink. It gave me a good but not too strong boost to get off my ass and go to the gym. I didn't feel any itching at all. I felt a slight tingle, but I can feel it with most drinks I've tried. This continued throughout my workout and I had what I would describe as a comfortable "focused" feeling during and after my workout. I have a feeling that some people are probably more sensitive to such a product and will react differently. I would have thought that if I wasn't so used to drinking pre-workout drinks, this or any other pre-workout drink would make me jump off the walls. Digest at its sole discretion. I'd suggest smaller portions first if you're not used to it. Overall I'm really impressed. It did exactly what I expected, tasted good and it's all weighted right. In my opinion, and especially for the money, this is a worthy product. I can't confirm any long term effects like weight loss as I've only just started using it. However, I'm not stupid enough to believe that there is any product that promotes weight loss. No, regardless of their claims. A good diet and exercise plan promotes weight loss, plain and simple. I will buy again.
