The conditioner is ok nothing special like the shower gel but the shampoo was TERRIBLE! I have natural African American hair. It's usually soft and easy for me to unravel. My hair has never felt so bad as after using shampoo. It was rough, matted, and the consistency of thieves' wool. I started with dreadlocks! I had to order a professional deep conditioner and other intensive care products to bring them back to their normal texture. If you want dry, matted, dull and unruly hair then this shampoo is for you.
