Review on Alpine Electronics HCE TCAM1 WRA 2007 Up Wrangler by Michael Pickering

Pros:* Camera works well* Looks good on a Jeep* Easy installation. The instructions were complete and easy to understand. * The camera module itself seems relatively solid. * Supplied with three mounting adapters for different wheel offsets. Cons: * The attachment system is too fragile. The camera is mounted on an aluminum pole held together with tiny 2mm screws. If it's your first tire change, your friendly neighborhood mechanic will be there tightening the camera module with his air wrench and prying the 2mm bolts out of their holes (see image). * The wiring harness is annoyingly difficult to disconnect when removing the camera. (which is necessary to remove the spare wheel). For an item designed specifically for a Jeep, this product is surprisingly weak. If it were cheaper I wouldn't mind, but for the price it should be immortal.
