Partially fixed the Check Engine Light issue.
OBD2 scanner showed an EGR issue. The EGR valve was checked ok but it turned out that the problem was in the old EGR modulator. Replaced and the check engine light is no longer on. The EGR modulator is usually located next to the EGR valve.
