Makes the screen TERRIBLE

Ok, first let me say that I bought this screen protector to texture my screen for artistic purposes, not to protect the screen or reduce glare. It REALLY gives me a nice "tooth" for my Apple Pencil to glide across the screen, making it feel like I'm actually drawing on paper. That's what he does his job for. However, it makes the screen look downright awful. It reminds me of a very old computer monitor with this tiny rainbow texture. This completely kills the iPad's retina resolution. This is especially noticeable on a white screen. To be fair, I looked at several YouTube reviews before purchasing and they all mentioned this effect. But I didn't understand HOW it would be pronounced. I just don't know if I can handle it. I'll try it because I really like the textures for painting. But it's definitely going to be annoying. It's also not as easy to apply as some other screen protectors I've tried. I had to use tape on the side to keep it in place while removing the backing because it's not good enough to do as they recommend. I just aligned the screen protector perfectly, attached a piece of tape to one side at each end to hold it in place while I removed the backing, then reattached it as if it were the tape's door hinges. (I heard about it on YouTube and it worked fine.)
