Strong, stable, well built
The stepladder from ZUCO is made mostly of aluminum with some steel rivets and plastic end caps. The workmanship is very good, there are no sharp edges, except on the back of the lower step (see photo). The edge isn't very sharp, it's just angled and not rounded like the other three edges. This is a very high quality ladder. It's a bit tight when opening and closing, but once open it offers a very stable deep top step and a narrower but equally stable bottom step. RECOMMENDED.
