Bought for use on my Cadillac ATS (which curb weight from the manufacturer is 3300 pounds with my kit) to allow me to change my headlight bulbs. (requires removal of front tires). Remember that this jack needs to be aligned along your vehicle (so that the jack screw is parallel/aligned in the same direction that the tires rotate). t I can't imagine that this could be because this jack was set at a 90° angle with respect to tire rotation (like a manual scissor jack). What I really like about this jack is that it has a low profile when folded and really suits my ATS which has a very low ground clearance.
