Use with G1W-CB DVR. Mine came in a pre-assembled plastic bag. There were no instructions included. All I had to do was loosen the knob to switch the ball mount to the correct one for the G1W-CB. Despite the lack of a retaining clip, it fits snugly into the G1W-CB's plastic frame, so I don't see it falling off. I wish the center section was a bit longer, but I was able to adjust it to mount the dash cam to the left of the compass mirror post in my Sonata and hide almost all of it. It sticks out just below the bottom of the mirror but stays out of the way. It's attached fairly tightly and doesn't move at all. Of course I had to try to make mistakes, but everything worked out.
