Review on 🐦 Higgins Parakeet Vita Seed Food by Shari Smith

I tried all types of parrot food on two of my feathered friends and they refused to eat anything but seeds. You can add fruits and veggies to packaged seeds and they won't get anything. I always ended up throwing half away. Finally, frustrated at finding something that would both be fun, I decided to give Higgins Vita Seed a try. I liked that I could get 2 bags at a time and liked that they arrived securely packaged and smelling fresh. Best of all, Morticia and Gomez eat all of the seeds and food in their meals! I'm surprised! I have had birds for over 60 years when I was a little girl and have never seen such complete consumption of all seeds as when using the Higgins mix. And when Morticia and Gomez are happy and healthy, I'm happy! Added 8/15/20: Unfortunately they have now placed themselves outside of my available range. I can't afford €18.99 for £5. Seeds and I will be looking for a healthy mix that is of comparable quality but not that ridiculously expensive.
