Ingredients have been changed

My birds ate all the seeds. Now that the company has diluted the seeds into larger chunks, my birds won't eat them. Very small seeds were mixed with a huge amount of larger seeds and ?. My birds are leaving this behind, I'm looking for a good seed again. Too bad. I bought this 3 times. No longer.

Pros
  • Good item
Cons

No artificial coloring!

My budgies love this food. I love that it doesn't contain any artificial coloring! I feed my budgies this + veggies and they thrive. Remember guys, it's important to give your budgies lettuce, celery, raw broccoli, etc. Just look for budgie-safe foods! (budgies/budgies is just the right word for parrot lol)

  • Try it for 1 year

Everything is delicious! That's what my birds say

My parrots love this seed. They'll eat it all up and there's almost no filler or waste. When it comes time to change the seeds, they will only be pods. Other types of seeds may have fillers that my birds don't like (like those little black seeds or dried chunks of corn), but this one has none of that, so I feel like I'm getting a very good value.

My birds love it!

Seeds beautifully packaged, two bags rolled up. This keeps it fresh as you don't have to open the whole bag of seeds at once. The seeds are fresh and colorful, but they don't have any unnatural colors. It's just good, healthy stuff. However, it seems to be going so fast. Sure, I have a few birds, but this is faster than any other seed I've used. It gets a little pricey to buy more often but I think it says how much my birds love it.

  • Practical item

No waste - our birds seem to love it

Every sachet I've ordered smells fresh and our parrots seem to love the mix; They will reliably eat almost any seed in their feeder. (They used to feed Dr. Harvey's parrot chow, which our birds were more picky about and contained a significant percentage of seeds that our birds consistently rejected.) Their fresh vegetables, too. If they don't like veggies at first, be patient and keep trying. It's taken two weeks of our daily veggie nibble attempts, but now they're going with fresh broccoli (a

They eat everything!

I tried all types of parrot food on two of my feathered friends and they refused to eat anything but seeds. You can add fruits and veggies to packaged seeds and they won't get anything. I always ended up throwing half away. Finally, frustrated at finding something that would both be fun, I decided to give Higgins Vita Seed a try. I liked that I could get 2 bags at a time and liked that they arrived securely packaged and smelling fresh. Best of all, Morticia and Gomez eat all of the seeds and…
