Works well with some limitations - Rocketek USB 3 4x4 Switch

This review is for the Rocketek 4x4 USB 3 Switch Pros: 1) It's a rugged, tiny switch made primarily of aluminum. It works well. 2) If you have less than 4 computers connected, it switches between active ports instead of all ports, which is a plus. 3) It supports USB powered hubs on device ports, allowing you to add more devices. Cons: 1) Tiny LCDs are almost impossible to see. 2) If you want to power this switch, it will be done through one of the ports on the device. This means that you only have three device ports available. However, as mentioned above, I plugged a powered USB 3 hub into one of the ports on the device instead, so there's a workaround. 3) Non-standard USB-A to USB-A cables are used, but are included in the box.

Pros
  • 🎄 USB switch for 4 PCs to share devices like printer, keyboard, mouse, printer and USB hard drive with 4 PCs. Required for select workstations with a USB 3.0 switch. The USB Sharing Switch always keeps your devices ready at the push of a button. Connect monitors and peripherals to the USB 3.0 hub switch. The 4-port USB hub supports USB 3.0 speeds up to 5Gbps, HD video and image transfer in seconds.
Cons
  • The list will be long.
