Saves time in tight spaces
When using my usual tools (sockets, adjustable wrenches, etc.) there just wasn't enough room/clearance. Often had trouble getting a good grip and slipped - and fumbled to turn tools on and off. This socket inserts easily and holds tight. Worked well on my Solstice, but even more useful on GM's 2.4 liter hybrid where extra wiring and power electronics get in the way. Money well spent, wish I had bought it sooner.
