I got so tired of keeping boxes in my makeup train case because it took up so much space and yet I only used a few. I wanted to find something small but at the same time very durable as it might get shaken while traveling. It worked! It's plastic, but almost looks like metal or aluminum. Super light and convenient to store my lashes and also to travel. I agree with @MrsDeeJayonly, a secret compartment below to store my tweezers and glue would also be a bonus to this item!
