You are always at risk when you buy something online without touching it and without being able to see the build quality and product details. These lights are so impressive in each of those departments that I immediately went back and bought two more. I couldn't be happier. Wow! Very thoughtful design for easy installation. The spring-loaded clips pull it toward the ceiling so hard you'll have a hard time pulling it out when needed. Very secure fit. The IC is sized to go directly against the insulation. My 4" hole saw drilled the perfect hole and the frame covers the hole well. The wiring was also very well thought out. A separate wiring box allows the romex clamp to secure the romex entry in the box. Then they made wonderful wire connectors available. so no wire nuts are needed. I liked that part too. You can plug anything in, slip it through the 4" hole, and then use the quick release cable to attach the light. Rest! For a 4" light with 1000 lumens at 2700-3000K the light is amazing but the light is amazing Dimmable I put all three on separate dimmers and have absolutely no flicker Make sure to buy an LED/CFL/Halogen dimmer Voltage do they heat up a bit more than i thought as they are only 12 watts at this amount of light i keep them about half way and they don't heat up at all and they have plenty of light would recommend and wi buy .
