Bought two of these for our bedroom bedside tables. I like the way they look, they're really concrete and heavy. This allows the wire to be hidden inside the shape if you don't want to use the entire length. The only complaints I have are that the light switch is difficult to reach due to the way the lampshade sits, and that the bulb and lampshade mount are too loose. There's not really anything holding it to the concrete base, so that part feels flimsy. Hopefully until we get close to it it will stay straight and I'll try to learn how to reach for the switch (which is also tricky without hitting the lampshade and sliding it). Update: Turning it on and off isn't as problematic as expected. But the fact that the switch and socket socket cannot be attached to a concrete base is a problem as it is flimsy. Again, this would not be a problem if the hue was based on something else. But because it rests on the nest, it's impossible to keep the shade straight. I still like it, but crooked lampshades become annoying over time.
