Although listed as Filtron compatible they absolutely are NOT the same as real Filtron pads. They are slightly larger in diameter, slightly thinner and EXTREMELY soft. They look and feel like a stack of cotton makeup pads. Unfortunately, they also have the durability of cotton makeup remover pads; Each was shredded and worn after a single use. I don't need pieces of filter fiber in my cold beer and should just throw them away after each batch. From an economic standpoint, this makes them more expensive than hard, durable, genuine Filtron pads that CAN be safely washed, squeezed and cooked. Buy a pair of real ones, they'll last a lot longer and work a lot better.
