I received it a few weeks ago and it was fully charged right out of the box. I'm still on three bars (down from five). It's super easy to use - just flip the switch to the "on" position and press the button. So far I've used it to light our propane stove, charcoal grills and fires in the fireplace. It took a while to get used to - you need to be a bit more precise on how you make contact with sparks and fuel. For propane, this simply meant making sure the tip was near the gas outlet; For a fireplace, I had to touch the kindling and/or paper with a spark. Once I figure it out, I don't have to think about it anymore. Overall, this is a nice little product. It looks high-tech and attractive and doesn't take up much space. My biggest fear is losing it so I have to make sure I put it away after each use. Actually, I could order another one for the workshop.
