I used to have a combo set of ties but I liked this size best so I bought this large set. I find these ties much nicer to use than the other options and easier to make too. They replace dozens of other products. They work better than the wire I used to attach the farm sign to the metal poles and work well outdoors in all weathers. The latch on an unused barn door fell out of its mounting position allowing this door to be inflated, but by making a loop with the drawstring on the mount I am able to hook the door latch and the door stays shut. There is no horse in this stable, only farming implements, so a tie is enough to protect the door. I can open and close it when needed without any fuss. I make a properly sized loop to hold coiled cords of all sizes when not in use or too long. There are many zip ties available for this purpose, but this is a much cheaper option and is effective whether you want to permanently secure the cable or simply thread the coiled cable into the loop provided a number of times. They are great for anchoring tomato plants. to the cage and other gardening chores, and at the end of the season I can trim them quickly and easily. I attached a tie to a decorative wreath which allows me to easily hang it on a hook and use it to attach decorative lights to the deck railing. The uses I have found for them seem limitless and if I use them all I will buy more.
