These shelves fit perfectly in my very small closet. I put them together and tried to put them in my closet but they didn't fit (yes my closet is small) so I had to take them apart and put them back in the closet which actually wasn't that bad as it sounds. I had one screw that was stubborn and wouldn't go flush as other reviewers have reported. I just loosened both screws on that side to make the shelf wobble a bit, screwed it back in, still not flush but it's better to do the same thing 2 more times until it's finally flush. Something easy to assemble. I would suggest putting both legs under the shelf to keep it straight when turning, doing the same to stack them, it really helps. The screws should start as straight as possible and finish flush. Other than that I am very happy with the shelves, they are sturdy and each shelf can comfortably hold 9, maybe 12 standard sized cans. They make my closet look inviting and a joy to step into. Instead of the disaster that was about to happen, I never knew what or how much would fall out when I opened this closet.
