I live in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, and I love the wind and rain. And for the past 20 years, I've been walking an hour every day in my small town. Needless to say, a good full-size umbrella is essential to keep you dry and comfortable. And during that time I changed several umbrellas. The last one I bought was a golf umbrella which was completely ruined after only 2 weeks when a gust of wind flipped it upside down and broke some spokes. The windflaps work great and keep it intact in sudden winds or constant winds and keep me dry. The opening and closing mechanism is well made, sturdy and snaps easily. I didn't want a bent handle (probably because I've never had one). ), but without I'll never buy an umbrella again, not only does it free my hands by hanging it on my hand when I'm shopping on a walk in the market, but it's also much more convenient A big bonus for me is, that I always have Rick Steve's backpack with me, so if it's not raining at the start (but I'm afraid it might be), I just attach it to the straps of the backpack and don't even notice it as I run. Just perfect for me!
