Great product, best among trail accessories

I use this umbrella for hiking in the sun so I think it mostly works as an umbrella for me. It is brushed aluminum on the outside and black on the inside. I estimate that its use during sunny hours reduces the perceived temperature by 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit during my daily walks, which I often take at midday. It also allowed me to go without a hat, which I find much more convenient than wearing a hat. I've just had the opportunity to test the umbrella in fairly strong winds - around 20mph…

Great umbrella but be careful trying to put it in your luggage!

This umbrella is huge and looks very nice! I bought 2 of these when my husband and I ran away (I could have taken 1 as they are big enough to fit 2 people underneath) to use at our outdoor wedding as they look so pretty. But beware, this thing is big. We tried to pack it in our luggage but it just didn't fit. We were lucky because we could take it with us on the plane, but if you try to travel with it, just know that it is very long and the dimensions given on it are accurate. Still I'm really…

The best umbrella I've ever had!

I live in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, and I love the wind and rain. And for the past 20 years, I've been walking an hour every day in my small town. Needless to say, a good full-size umbrella is essential to keep you dry and comfortable. And during that time I changed several umbrellas. The last one I bought was a golf umbrella which was completely ruined after only 2 weeks when a gust of wind flipped it upside down and broke some spokes. The windflaps work great and keep it intact in sudden

Great roof, locking mechanism POOR

This umbrella has pretty good reviews and is perfect for my purposes so I decided to give it a try. One thing that really bothered me, while not a deal breaker, is that the quick release button doesn't line up with the grip. You can see what I mean in the image below. After using the umbrella for about 2 weeks I can say that this umbrella is holding up decently. I've used this umbrella in two fairly heavy downpours (walking around with it for about 15 minutes each time) and there was no tear in
