Review on 65" TV LG OLED65CXR 2020 HDR, OLED, black by Anson Keith ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Great TV that will last for years. There are simply no alternatives to OLED for high-quality display right now. The previous LG OLED was one of the first ones bought 5 years ago, it still serves faithfully (gave it to my daughter), neither the brightness nor the color reproduction suffered a drop during this time. The old OLED had a slight banding, but, anyway, it was practically not noticeable (when compared with the monstrous light of an ordinary LCD TV), on the new one it simply does not exist, absolutely pure gray color in all gradations, there are no dead pixels either. Perhaps I came across a good copy, because some write in the comments about these shortcomings. As for the fears for the afterimage, it really is, if you watch one channel for a long time or play a game, but it also disappears quickly. So I don't think it's worth worrying about.

Pros
  • - Image with infinite contrast - Colors - Working G-Sync - Dolby Atmos decoder - True HDR
Cons
  • The sound could be better, but on the other hand, such a TV needs acoustics to match, good drivers cannot be placed in such a thin case. So the lack of a stretch. Of course, the main drawback is the price, but here, perhaps, only the fault of our wooden course. I took Certify for 155 thousand. If you think about it, then at a rate of 27 per buck (there were such times, and for the sake of justice, it should be approximately the same rate, if we discard politics), this TV would cost 55 thousand. Oh dreams, dreams.
