I buy every year. I use 5-6 years. I buy a cat and a dog who live in the summer at the dacha next to the forest.
No parasites were caught during this time.
I like that the collar is odorless. The animal smells like an animal, not chemistry, and you can safely iron it.
The dog and cat were always tolerated without allergies.
I try to buy collars out of season, so they are at least a little cheaper.
But in general, I think they work out their value.

Pros

Odorless, thin, there are reflective elements (installation optional). Long term. Enough one from April to October.
