There are many things to love about this broiler, but it has one major drawback - the handles. Pros: Large size - big enough for a 12 pound turkey. Handy, but not so big that you can't easily store it away Non-stick coating - very easy to clean without leaving any residue Sturdy grid - perfect for pots Sturdy handles - foldable to reduce the space requirement and not to interfere with stapling or carving. Cons: The handles fold up so you can lift the pan, but when the pan is in a hot oven and you're using oven mitts, it's very difficult to lift into place. I was afraid of burning myself or dropping the turkey. The grate is shallow so the turkey will tip over if you try to cook it breast-side down.
