Review on G-Technology 500GB G-DRIVE Mobile Pro SSD: Portable Thunderbolt 3 External Storage by Jason Hill

I really wanted this SSD. The design is great and it's the fastest TB3 SSD I've ever owned. The only problem is that it is completely unreliable. The drive was ejecting from my 2019 MBP at random times, often at least once an hour. I changed my macOS settings to never put the drive to sleep and even bought an app to keep the drive running, but it didn't work. Nothing worked. I bought it primarily for video editing and due to the constant ejection I had no confidence that this drive would not corrupt my data. G-Technology's support was less than helpful. I returned the disc and bought a glyph and it proved bulletproof.
