Purchased on 18th November 2017. I'm a DJ and I was at a concert when the weather turned bad and it started raining. External drive damaged by water. I've read about a 3 year limited warranty and a product that says it's "waterproof", obviously not because now when I plug in the drive it just beeps instead of clicking which could be worse could. I packed up the hardware asap so I didn't think the rain had taken a toll on it, but it won't even boot on my laptop anymore. This is "waterproof" for you.
