Review on Nokian Tires Hakka Green 3 205/55 R16 94H summer by Mateusz Kot ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is really good, Im glad I bought it.

Judging by some reviews, this tire rolls in people and after a while it stops making noise, which I personally really hope for.

Pros
  • Earlier, about 4-5 years ago, I had Nokian Nordman SX in operation on a Skoda Fabia, 2022 onwards. They left for 4 seasons, and I sold them on alloy wheels separately from the car with 3-4 mm of tread remaining. The rubber was excellent, soft, the wear was on the level (in my not very subjective opinion, because before that there was not much to compare with). Having sold the car and bought a Volkswagen Polo, which was equipped with 185/60 R15 Cordiant Sport 3, I realized that this rubber is completely different (noise, rumble, hard, pits are noticeable). Getting used to the comfort, I sold them and bought a Hakka Green 3 in size 185/60 R15 (having some experience with Nokian summer tires and hoping that the manufacturer remains on the level in terms of comfort and noise). I noticed a strange thing for me, not much in that the stripe on the tires is factory-made for the set I purchased in white, although all advertising photos of tire sets on the Internet have a green stripe. I will make a reservation that on my tires there is a “warming” soul inscription Made in Finland. The rubber is really soft, pits and irregularities are found very well. I hope that wear will also be at the stated level, i. E. 35% more than the manufacturer claims. (At the end of the summer season I will add a review on this issue).
Cons
  • The most important thing for me and, perhaps, for many consumers is noise. I only drove them for another 100-150 km and yes, they are noisy. Compared to the Nordman SX that I had sunk into the abyss, yes, they are noisy. I would even say that my winter operating Kormoran is quieter than this summer kit from Nokian. This aspect made me very upset. I can’t believe that the indicated information about the silence of these tires at every step (advertising, Internet resources) is dust in the eyes.

I won’t say that it’s very scary and critical for me, but I would like 23 years of release)
