Much more than enough

I am the last music lover. But I know what I like and I know good, full, clean sound when I hear it. These speakers offer just that. The sound is fantastic. I realize this could be related to the old Altec Lansings I had previously (although they were pretty good for their time too) but I think these speakers are very solid. but still quite clear and precise. High frequencies are bright but not harsh and piercing. Separate settings for the bass and treble controls are welcome and, when set correctly, allow for a nice mid-range feel. Nothing is lost in my Skull Candy headphones either. I value these beauties above all in their absolute power. I'm not joking; these mothers were really angry. It's terrifying how powerful they are at relatively low volumes for their size. The "fit and finish" on them is impressive; nothing looks crumpled or tacky. They're not heavy at all and still have a great center of gravity (the flat bars are part of the overall design and very effective). I listen to A LOT of music: Spotify, local public radio, etc. and these really let me enjoy it on my computer the way it was meant to be heard. Are there better speakers? Optimistic. Are there better speakers for the price? I doubt it. These speakers are really damn good.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • High price
