This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just something a beginner should be aware of - the guide and tutorials on the site will give you the steps, but you'll need to use other resources to understand the concepts. The Raspberry Pi, Linux, and this kit are for the DIY enthusiast who doesn't mind learning the basics of computers and electronics with minimal instruction. It's good for me and my kids. Anyone can upload a file, accept the terms, click next three times and get a working application or project, but we wanted and got more. Although the code provided is in C, we used Scratch as my boys are younger and have limited programming experience. The C code is easy to copy and paste from an online download, but is much more difficult to understand if you are unfamiliar with programming.
