Review on ⚡️ ENGiNDOT Non-Contact AC Voltage Tester: Dual Range Voltage Tester with LCD Display, Buzzer & Light Alarm by Charles Alvey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Convenient tool that is easy to use; beautiful design

I am very satisfied with this voltage tester. It's very easy to use to check if a wire is 'hot' - great for making sure electrical repairs are going well without the need for a doctor. It is also handy for troubleshooting. The operation is simple: one button to turn on; another button to switch low sensitivity (48-1000V), high sensitivity (12-1000V) or LED flashlight. The latter is a feature I didn't have on my previous voltage tester and is quite handy, although the beam isn't as bright (think penlight output, not a flashlight). The voltage detection beep is loud and clear. It runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included. I especially like the battery cover. My old one had a press to close a valve that happened to open. It has a screw cap which is much more secure. The thread is entirely plastic, but it is a thick thread resistant to cross threading. The device turns off automatically after a few minutes of inactivity to save battery power. Very good value for money and a handy tool to always have at hand. Five stars.
