Installation is easy IF you're watching YouTube videos. The hardest part was taking the dashboard apart and finding a good mount so I could access the device when I reinstalled the dashboard. (In case you need access to the reset button). Model with key "G". The unit will continue to operate when the door is unlocked as long as you turn the key to the run position before depressing the brake pedal. Cons: It was noticed that immediately after starting the car, all the doors unlocked for about 10-15 seconds and then closed again, which can be a bit annoying for security reasons. Second and more important is the fact that while you are in the car and the key is NOT in the ignition switch, if you press the lock button inside the car on the door panel three times, the car will start. The column is locked and cannot be steered, but this can pose a safety issue when the vehicle is in an enclosed space such as a garage. Overall I would recommend this device although I may upgrade to an additional device in the future for longer range although I really don't want to carry another key fob around.
