I try to avoid insulating these beverage containers as their lids usually contain rubber grommets and slots. Gaskets dry out over time and the cracks are difficult to reach and clean. This lid also uses rubber grommets, but contains relatively few hard-to-reach slots. Time will tell how well the lid will hold up, those seals and my ability to clean it. However, the double wall vacuum insulation is great. Keeps my drinks cold for hours. Update 5/10/21: As I feared, a lot of mold and/or dirt has built up on the rubber seal around the part of the cap that is used to open and close the bottleneck. Some of it has grown into the rubber so I can't scrub it off without damaging the rubber. I've cleaned it regularly but can't get rid of all the dark dirt. I threw away the bottle. I will never buy anything with rubber feet again. Same problem with any of these types of overlays.
