OVERVIEW: This product is highly recommended if you have separate audio/microphones. I bought this product because I have a RODE shotgun microphone that I use with my Sony mirrorless camera. I also have headphones (no mic) which I like. My microphone port on my PC was broken and not working well, so I couldn't plug it in there. This product allowed me to connect my Rode headset and mic to USB which was very helpful! Works perfectly! Now I can play with the good quality pistol mic I already have on hand. I don't have to buy anything. The sound quality is excellent. There is no lag or noise.
