Before I bought it, I tested the disinfecting effect of thymol and thyme oil. There seems to be something there. It is the active ingredient in a popular brand of herbal cleansers. I love the idea of using them in the kitchen and not having to wash them, but they are a bit pricey. I use a lot of wipes around the house so I ordered Lysol and not the others. Maybe I'm just not ready to trust them yet when I get chicken juice on the counter and they're a little more than I'm willing to pay for something I don't quite trust yet. But that's my problem, not towels. If you can trust their sanitizing claims, they seem to be in about the same price range as other well-known plant cleaners. The towels themselves were soft and easy to clean.
