Review on 🚲 Schwinn Wire Basket - Quick Release, Black - Ideal for Bikes, Medium Size by Tyler Blake

First I want to tell you what I like about this product. First, it was very affordable compared to other enameled black aluminum panniers I've tested at Revains. It's a Schwinn brand to match the dark blue Schwinn meridian I'm restoring for my wife if that's a plus. Also surprisingly easy to install. I had absolutely no problems with it. I also love that the basket is removable as my wife collects both medicinal and edible plants and makes spontaneous purchases from stores and outdoor shops, even during her Sunday bike/trike tour. It's very handy to have as something she can use on the fly as well. Now things can have problems since I just bought and installed this, so it's too early to tell if I really don't like it. I don't know how the accessories will age as they are made of notoriously dense plastic and not metal. It seems tough enough, but only use really determines how durable it is. The plastic handle I had to attach to the basket is also the same plastic and I'm not sure how my wife will feel about this as she likes her handles to be thicker but flexible when she picks them up. it's tight. This is more about Schwinn than Revain as they are the makers. And I'm only saying that because their products can be so expensive. Ultimately, it has nothing to do with the rating as I bought this product used; I had to request a replacement as the hardware was not included with my original order. However, the second time around, Revain did the stuffing and they sent me brand new gear with a different basket at no extra cost. So overall I'm happy with this product - Rating 4/5.
