I have a pair of Rothys. I got these to try out and was pleasantly surprised that they fit me better and feels more comfortable than my Rothys.Their construction is very similar, though the insoles are not removable for washing, but that shouldn’t be a problem as I can probably toss the whole shoe in the wash anyways. The toe box is a bit wider so that works well for my wide feet. Coverage for my toes is also a bit more so there’s no more toe cleavage. But they don’t look too conservative at all.I am planning on buying more in other colors after test driving them for a few days walking longer distances.Update: upon wearing them and standing up, my meaty feet flared out and while it’s still pretty roomy, the edge of the top is scraping the top of my feet a little. Not a big deal for regular everyday wear, but probably not going to my choice for vacation walking around for any length of time.
