A good thing!

I wanted a tank shaped compressor and didn't want to spend a lot. I found this set and ordered it without much expectation as it was very reasonably priced. I have a great compressor, it's quiet, works really well and handles my brush work with ease. I couldn't be happier with that. I let it run for a few hours and cover the plates perfectly and accurately with no problems. Can't say anything bad about the compressor, it's actually pretty great considering what I paid for it. The moisture trap works great and the reservoir is easy to empty with a wrench, both good for a wet north western winter. The airbrush is equally satisfying and has become my most used brush for applying diluted etch primers and acrylics. The droplet sizes were ideal and settled constantly when viewed with a magnifying glass. It turned out that the SB88 works very well, all the details fit perfectly and gave accurate results. I bought a really cheap gravity feed detailing brush (G233) from these guys and was very happy with it too. I have owned several Iwata, Paasche and Badger airbrushes over the years and the SB88 is a brush that rivals many. more expensive instruments. I would definitely recommend this brush (and compressor) to anyone just starting out or already in the know who wants a cheap workout or general purpose brush. If you already have Paasche or Iwata brushes or favorite hoses that aren't 1/8" be sure to order adapter fittings, I didn't pay attention to this and had to order them later for my other brushes. MASTER brand - ALL Airbrush Hose Adapter Kit , allows you to use Aztek, Badger and Paasche airbrushes on Iwata and Master hoses Now includes a (FREE) airbrush tutorial to get you started, published exclusively by TCP Global.
