Cable can burn out
The cable cross-section is very different from the existing cables on your Toyota Tacoma. I've already had to re-crimp new connections because the smaller wire overheated. So much so that quite thick smoke came out of the air conditioner vents and the insulation on the wires melted. Essentially, they need to make that connector with the correct wire gauge.
