No shell fragments got in while shelling

These are the first water socks I tried after years of trying various water shoes. Usually have issues with shell pieces getting in my water shoes from the waves, but I didn't with these. Velcro strip could be a bit longer for a tighter closure, but the only issue I had with that was the waves eventually worked them loose. Still didn't get she'll fragments inside though.

Pros

Easy for 6 & 8 yr old to put on by themselves.Better for pool than water shoes (much lighter).

Cons

May not be as effective in extreme hot temperatures
