I was so excited to get a small bathroom dehumidifier. Those annoying hot showers often make the bathroom smell damp and I figured this would be the solution. I bought this from my local Costco. I should have read the reviews first as the max it can extract is only 8 ounces of water. If you've ever had a humidifier, you wouldn't realize that there's almost no water in it. The unit is rated at 1200 cubic feet, but I think it's really useful for a small enclosed space. I don't know how much electricity it uses but I left it on in the bathroom for 4 days and the only amount of water I got is shown in the picture which was about 25% of the tank. Not only is this device returning to the store because it uses electricity, has a bright blue light that you can't turn off, but also because I'm not sure this thing will do anything for the bathroom. The only plus point is that the device is fairly quiet, with little fan noise.
