Haven't cooked with this item yet but after opening it I placed it in an ice bath and all 4 probes showed 34. That's a few degrees above 32 that the thermometer reads in the ice bath"should" show . My thermometer, which I can calibrate, always has to be on the lowest setting to get close to 32 in the tub and still usually reads around 32.7-33.3. The thermometer and gauges appear to be of good quality. It was very easy to connect Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in the app. With a Cyber Monday offer and a 30% coupon, this thermometer is a steal compared to other smart thermometers.
