smooth and sharp! good for cutting tools
I bought these and a pair of practice scissors from Maped for my 2 children a year or two ago. They still cut as smoothly as before. The tip is very sharp which makes it fantastic for its intended purpose but also damaged my son's pencil case (so be mindful of where and how to keep them). If you're a touch person, you'll enjoy the gentle cutting action as well as the level of tension. Very comfortable to hold and effective scissors. Came back this year to replace my middle boy's Fiskar school shears with a Maped.
